8月18日,舞剧《10909》于第十四届中国舞蹈荷花奖舞剧评奖终评舞台上演。该剧由中共江苏省委宣传部、江苏省文化和旅游厅、江苏省文学艺术界联合会指导,中共无锡市委宣传部、无锡市文化广电和旅游局出品,无锡市歌舞剧院(江苏民族舞剧院)、中国船舶科学研究中心联合创作。该剧先后入选2022年江苏省重大题材文艺创作项目,2023年江苏艺术基金年度资助项目、江苏省舞台艺术精品扶持工程扶持剧目、获得第十四届全国舞蹈展演优秀剧目,2024年入选国家艺术基金年度资助项目、入选中国文联重点创作目录项目、中国科协科学家故事舞台剧·优秀剧目推广名单、江苏省科学家精神舞台剧推广行动首批剧目、获得紫金文化艺术节优秀剧目。自2023年7月首演以来,舞剧《10909》先后赴上海、南京、鄂尔多斯等地,累计演出近60场。
On August 18, the dance drama 10909 was was staged in the finals of the 14th China Dance Lotus Awards. This production was guided by the Publicity Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of CPC, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles. It was produced by the Publicity Department of the Wuxi Municipal Committee of CPC and the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, and jointly created by the Wuxi Song and Dance Theater (Jiangsu National Dance Theater) and the China Ship Scientific Research Center. It has been selected for multiple honors, including the 2022 Jiangsu Provincial Major Theme Literary and Artistic Creation Project, Projects Funded by Jiangsu Art Fund in 2023, and the Jiangsu Stage Art Excellence Support Program. It was also recognized as an Outstanding Production at the 14th National Dance Exhibition. In 2024, it was sponsored by the China National Arts Fund, and was included in the Key Creation Catalog of CFLAC, Excellent Repertoire Promotion List for the 2025 "Scientists' Stories Stage Play Promotion" by the China Association for Science and Technology, the first batch of Promotional Repertoires for the Jiangsu Provincial Scientist Spirit Stage Play Promotion, and was awarded the Excellent Repertoire at the Zijin Culture and Arts Festival. Since its premiere in July 2023, 10909 has been performed in cities such as Shanghai, Nanjing, and Ordos, with a total of nearly 60 shows.

舞剧《10909》以我国自主研发“奋斗者”号全海深载人潜水器,创造10909米的载人深潜新纪录的过程为主线,展现了“奋斗者”号研制并成功海试的过程。该剧以中国船舶七〇二所三代科研工作者为原型,通过舞蹈语汇将“简单质朴的师生情”“友情”“真实的人”“科技”相融合,将科技探索与深海之美融为一体,展现出当代科研工作者“最美奋斗者”形象,用舞蹈述说“新质生产力”背后的故事。
The dance drama 10909 takes as its central narrative the process through which China's independently developed deep-sea manned submersible, the Fendouzhe(Striver) set a new manned deep-diving record of 10,909 meters. It portrays the submersible's development and its successful sea trials. Inspired by the stories of three generations of researchers from the China Ship Scientific Research Center (CSSRC, also known as the 702 Research Institute), the production integrates "simple and pure teacher-student relationships," "friendship," "real people," and "technology" into its dance vocabulary. It seamlessly blends scientific exploration with the profound beauty of the deep sea, showcasing the image of contemporary researchers as "Greatest Strivers". Through dance, it tells the story behind the new quality productive forces.

艺术总监葛丹绮认为,“载人深潜”、“奋斗者”号、“马里亚纳海沟”这些词汇,对于非科技爱好者或海洋爱好者来说,确实存在距离。深海本身是一个与人类日常经验隔绝、充满未知的领域,但这也可能成为我们的机遇,这需要创作核心将“陌生”转化为“震撼”,将“专业”融入“人性”。我们深知观众不需要成为海洋学家或工程师才能被感动,我们聚焦“人”的故事,重点展现科学家、工程师、深潜团队的梦想、执着、勇气、压力至团队协作,他们为什么愿意冒风险?他们克服了什么?以及他们的家人如何看待?
Artistic Director Ge Danqi notes that for those who aren't tech or ocean enthusiasts, terms like "manned deep-sea submersible," the "Striver," and the "Mariana Trench" can feel quite distant. The deep sea itself is a realm isolated from everyday human experience, full of unknowns. But we saw this as an opportunity. Our creative core had to transform the 'unfamiliar' into 'awe' and blend the 'technical' with the 'human'. We firmly believe that one doesn't need to be an oceanographer or an engineer to be moved. Our focus is on the human stories. We highlight the dreams, perseverance, courage, pressures, and teamwork of the scientists, engineers, and diving crew. Why were they willing to take these risks? What did they overcome? And how did their families view their mission?

Human curiosity for the unknown, the desire to push limits, and the sense of honor in representing one’s country—these are universal emotions, rooted in our shared humanity, transcending any specialized background. We frame deep-sea exploration as a contemporary extension of humankind’s enduring spirit of discovery. Through visuals and sound, we make the audience viscerally grasp what "10,000 meters" truly means: extreme pressure, absolute darkness and uncharted environments. This in itself is universal drama—the drama of pushing human limits.

First, they will witness the surreal landscapes of the Mariana Trench—its unique organisms, sedimentary formations—and sense that suffocating darkness, overwhelming pressure, and the pulse of life in absolute silence. Through staging and sound design, we convey the terrifying reality of 10,909 meters of pressure, helping the audience appreciate how technology safeguards life under extreme conditions.
其次,见证“大国重器”的诞生,观众将不只是看一个结果,而是跟随“奋斗者”号从设计论证、关键技术攻关、惊心动魄的海试,到最终成功坐底的全过程。了解中国如何从无到有,突破万米载人深潜的核心技术封锁,感受这份成就背后的艰辛与智慧。
Second, they will experience the birth of a "national milestone" not just as an outcome, but as a journey—from initial design debates, to tackling core technologies, to nerve-wracking sea trials, all the way to the final moment the Striver touches down. They will grasp how China independently broke through core technologies for deep-sea manned submersibles, and feel the grit and ingenuity behind this triumph.

Chief Director Tang Chenglong believes that the mission of 10909 is to use physical language to visualize the abstract spirit of technological endeavor, allowing the audience to feel the perseverance and inner strength of researchers. Although there is no precedent for creating dance works on scientific themes, it is precisely why we must explore and break new ground. Every revision and refinement is aimed at more authentically portraying the people and spirit behind national milestone projects. This is not an easy choice, but it is a responsibility entrusted to art by our times. From a creative perspective, 10909 expands the traditional boundaries of dance drama, achieving breakthroughs in three narrative dimensions:
具象与抽象的转化:将深海压力、钛合金拼接等科技概念,通过肢体动作、群体调度与灯光设计转化为可感知的舞台意象,实现抽象精神的具象表达。
Transforming Abstract into Tangible: It turns technological concepts like deep-sea pressure and titanium alloy welding into perceptible stage imagery through movement, group choreography, and lighting—making the abstract visceral.
多媒介叙事融合:突破传统舞蹈单一媒介,引入道具、投影、文字等元素,构建“肢体+科技符号”的复合叙事体系,强化科研现场的真实感与象征性。
Multi-Media Narrative Integration: Going beyond pure dance, it incorporates props, projections, and text to build a hybrid storytelling system of "body + tech" enhancing both authenticity and metaphor.
审美共鸣的重构:以冷热色调对比、节奏张力变化等手段,引导观众在科技逻辑与艺术感染力间建立新共鸣,拓展舞剧的审美边界。
Reimagining Aesthetic Resonance: Using contrasts between cool and warm tones, rhythmic tension, and dynamic pacing, it guides the audience to new emotional connections between scientific logic and artistic expression—expanding the very possibilities of dance.
舞美设计徐鼎威认为,设计核心在于构建演员与空间、装置之间的动态关系,而非还原写实场景。我们注重“神似”而非“形似”,通过装置的造型、材质与运动方式,营造高科技实验室的现代感与深海环境的神秘氛围。舞美装置不仅是背景,更是参与叙事与情感表达的有机元素,与演员肢体高度融合,共同传递下潜万米的惊险感与科研攻坚的精神张力,形成科技与艺术共振的舞台美学。
Stage Designer Xu Dingwei believes the core of the design lies in building a dynamic relationship between the performers, the space, and the installations—rather than recreating a literal scene. We prioritize essence over literal representation, using the form, materiality, and movement of the installations to evoke both the modernity of a high-tech lab and the mystery of the deep-sea environment. The scenic devices are not just a backdrop—they are organic elements that participate in the storytelling and emotional expression. Deeply integrated with the dancers’ bodies, they work together to convey both the peril of diving 10,000 meters and the intense determination behind scientific breakthrough. The result is a stage aesthetic where technology and art resonate as one.
灯光设计王洋认为,该剧灯光设计的亮点是运用现代灯光设计手法来展现科技题材的表述,通过光影的动态变化与色彩张力,深刻展现中国科学家在深海载人领域的坚韧与智慧,实现科技理性与艺术感性的统一,为观众带来震撼的视觉体验与精神共鸣。我们以“工厂制造”与“深海潜水”两大空间为核心,通过光影与色彩的对比实现视觉叙事。利用灯光的光影和颜色来区分两个空间,用光和影来体现工厂制造的紧张感和深海潜水的神秘感。
Lighting Designer Wang Yang highlights that the production’s lighting uses contemporary techniques to articulate a story of technological achievement. Through dynamic shifts in light and shadow, and a bold color palette, it vividly conveys the resilience and wisdom of Chinese scientists in deep-sea manned exploration, merging technological precision with artistic expression to deliver a powerful visual and emotional experience. Centered on two core environments—the manufacturing facility and the deep-sea dive—the lighting creates visual storytelling through contrast. Light, shadow, and color distinguish these spaces: intense, warm tones and sharp shadows evoke the tension of industrial production, while cool, fluid blues and ethereal shifts embody the mystery of the abyss.
视效设计何子颖认为,视效设计整体强调科技感、简约感与高级感,并以抽象化的海洋元素进行艺术化表达。在技术层面,舞台运用了激光投影与装置相结合,并融入影像交互技术,营造多层次的沉浸式舞台效果;在内容表达上,则借鉴影视特效制作流程,从三维建模、动画制作到特效解算与渲染合成,依托舞蹈语言与剧情节奏构建场景,使舞台叙事与视觉表现高度融合。例如,梦境般的开场段落、七人威亚舞段塑造的“深海鱼群”,以及三人威亚下潜至深海的段落。舞剧整体以“奋斗者”号的研发与深海下潜为核心意象,形成了极具创新性与独特性的舞台视觉表达。
Visual Designer He Ziying explains that the visual design emphasizes a technological, minimalist, and sophisticated aesthetic, artistically interpreting oceanic elements in an abstract style. Technically, the stage combines laser projection with physical installations and incorporates interactive digital imagery to create a multi-layered, immersive environment. In terms of narrative expression, the team adopted a film VFX workflow—from 3D modeling and animation to simulation, rendering, and compositing—building scenes that align with the dance vocabulary and dramatic rhythm, seamlessly merging stage storytelling with visual impact. Notable sequences include the dreamlike opening, a seven-dancer wire-actuated segment evoking "a deep-sea shoal of fish" and a three-performer aerial descent into the abyss. Centered on the R&D and deep dive of the "Striver" submersible, the production achieves a highly innovative and distinctive visual language.
作曲尹一鸣认为,《10909》的题材不同于传统舞剧,因此在作曲方式上更偏重将传统与现代结合,在配器、声响、音效上作出更多探索。我们希望通过大片式的音乐质感,更好地表现科技感和艺术感,例如“控制室”场景的音乐。在多次调整与打磨中,尝试以剧中的具体场景为切入点进行创作,并最终定下了整部剧的旋律。
Composer Yin Yiming notes that the unique theme of 10909 demanded a blend of traditional and contemporary composing techniques, driving experimentation with instrumentation, sound textures, and audio effects. The goal was to capture both technological grandeur and artistic subtlety through cinematic-quality music—evident in sequences like the "control room" scene. Through rounds of refinement, the score evolved organically from specific narrative situations, ultimately forming the musical core of the entire production.
主演裴梓行表示,塑造“奋斗者”号总设计师林辑的难点在于,如何用舞蹈语言外化理性思考,在舞台能量与人物克制间找到平衡。我通过精准的身体控制与动作张力,将科研中的专注与克制转化为富有层次感的肢体表达——如实验动作的机械重复中融入细微的呼吸变化,体现理性下的情感涌动。这次经历让我深刻体会到,舞蹈演员的专业不仅在于技术,更在于如何用身体语言精准传递人物内核,将生活观察转化为舞台真实,让角色既有科研者的严谨,又具有人性的温度。
Leading actor Pei Zixing, who plays Lin Ji—chief designer of the Striver—found the greatest challenge in expressing rational thought through dance, balancing theatrical presence with a character defined by restraint. Through precise physical control and nuanced choreography, he translated scientific focus into layered movement—for instance, embedding subtle breath variations within repetitive lab-style motions to reveal emotion beneath a calm exterior. "This role showed me that being a dancer isn’t just about technique—it’s about embodying a character’s essence, turning lived observation into truth on stage, and marrying a researcher’s rigor with deeply human warmth."
主演蒋雨昊表示,塑造“奋斗者”号驾驶员李想,可以说是对科研人员这一群像的全方位展现。剧中不仅体现了李想在工作中与同事、伙伴之间的战友情,与师傅徐总之间的师生情,另外还展现出了他在家庭中的温暖与亲情。那么,对于我来说,挑战就在于如何兼顾全面地把握多线的人物情感又能准确传达科研人员形象及工作状态。为了更好塑造人物,我翻阅大量的文字和影像资料,多次跟随团队去往“奋斗者”号研发地中国船舶七〇二所实地考察采风,与科研人员深入交流。历经三年地创作和打磨,让我对该人物的理解和刻画有了提升。
Leading actor Jiang Yuhao, in the role of Li Xiang, a Striver pilot, aimed to reflect the multifaceted reality of researchers—not only the camaraderie among colleagues and mentorship under Chief Engineer Xu, but also the warmth and family bonds beyond the lab. "The challenge was honoring these emotional layers while staying true to the focus and discipline of their work," he shared. To prepare, Jiang studied extensive documents and footage and joined the team on multiple research trips to CSSRC, where the submersible was developed. "Three years of refining this role deepened my understanding and portrayal immensely."
主演王媛表示,塑造“奋斗者号”驾驶员苏恬的难点在于,如何平衡理性严谨与感性张力。我通过细节化身体语言衔接,如从握笔记录的精准手势渐变为托举动作,或用敲击节奏融入舞步,以“收与放”的对比展现职业特质与内在情感。此次表演让我深刻体会到,人物塑造需一切为角色服务。我通过观察科研人员的真实状态,捕捉生活细节融入表演,让角色摆脱刻板,以真实自然引发观众共鸣。
Leading actress Wang Yuan, who plays Su Tian, another Striver pilot, focused on harmonizing rationality and emotional resonance. She bridged precise gestures, like note-taking, into expressive motion, or infused dance phrases with rhythmic tapping, using "control and release" to reflect both professionalism and inner life. "I learned that every movement must serve the character. By observing real researchers and weaving those details into my performance, I tried to make Su relatable and authentic, far beyond a stereotype."
